Summer Youth Arts Program Celebration
Tags: Gallery News

Join us! On Friday, October 3 from 5 - 7 p.m., there will be a reception celebrating the youth that participated in the 2025 Summer Meals & Art Program!
See the finished murals each led by local Artist Mentors Coach Bree Hassell, Ashley Rutledge, & D. Colin created at the Lincoln Square Courts/Playground! Smaller works that youth created will also be featured. Additionally, visit the “color challenge” students collaborated on together! Each week focused on a specific color, which created a vibrant rainbow over the six weeks of Summer Meals & Art Program!
Come appreciate these young and creative minds with us! This pop-up is held in tandem with ACG After Hours featuring ACG’s All Hallow E’en Art Path & “Loading… Art for All!” Exhibit.
The Summer Youth Arts Program reception is hosted by Albany Center Gallery (ACG), Albany Housing Authority (AHA) and United Way of the Greater Capital Region (UWGCR). If you are not able to attend, you can view the murals in ACG until Saturday, October 25.
The Summer Meals & Art Collaborative Program is run by the Albany Housing Authority and United Way of the Greater Capital Region. A HUGE thank you to the United Way of the Greater Capital Region for their ongoing support of both the Summer Meals Collaborative and helping make the Capital Region a great place to be a kid in the summer!
