Register HERE.
About the workshop: Young artists can participate in a hands-on screen printing workshop that introduces two accessible printmaking techniques: mixed media photo emulsion and cut paper stencils. Through guided instruction, youth will design, prepare screens, and print on both paper and fabric. This workshop emphasizes bold design, process, and craftsmanship while building technical skills and creative confidence. Participants will leave with finished printed work and a foundational understanding of screen printing tools, materials, and methods.
Join us for this awesome screen printing workshop and to kick off MORE youth art in ACG’s new location! We hope to see you there!
About the Artist: “I’m a high school art teacher, screen printer, and the owner of Breakout Press Co., a small screen-printing company rooted in bold design and traditional printmaking. I’ve been screen printing since 2009 and am endlessly fascinated by the process, from ink and screens to the final printed piece.”
The workshop is free, and there is limited space in order to foster a proactive learning environment. Registration is REQUIRED. If you have someone younger interested, please email Emily at operations@albanycentergallery.org
