ACG’s paper works show, Japanese Influence: Layer and Line, will be up until October 6, providing plenty of time to stop by and see it. Exhibiting artists include Russell Serrianne, Laura Cannamela, and Ruby Silvious. The exhibition showcases three distinct approaches of work in paper by three distinct artists–all influenced by Japanese work, but from various sources and in various ways. Works range from the humorous and whimsical origami frogs of Ruby Silvious, to the introspective and meditative paper collages by Laura Cannamela. It’s a great show and shouldn’t be missed.
