Albany Center Gallery is pleased to present the show “Surface and Light,” featuring work by esteemed local artists Nat Friedman and Erik Laffer. Laffer’s abstract paintings, from the cartography series that he has been working on since 2003, are full of cryptic and ambiguous symbols and codes. Friedman’s geometric scupltures, on the other hand are all sharp angles and smooth curves. It’s definitely a show that shouldn’t be missed! The opening will take place on Friday, July 6, from 5:00-9:00 pm, in sync with the rest of the First Friday events. Light refreshments will be served.
