The upcoming Mohawk Hudson Regional Invitational showcases artists handpicked from the Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region Exhibit, held at the Albany Institute of History and Art in 2011. The artists exhibiting this year are Nancy Van Deren, Renee Iacone, and Lynn Schwarzer. Don’t miss the opening on May 4, 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Additionally, the show will also be available for viewing from May 4-June 9.

Last Saturday was the night of ACG’s much-anticipated OUTPUT Graphics Regional. The designs looked sleek and refined on the walls, and the gallery bustled with conversation and enthusiasm. The winners were announced by our judges at 7:00 p.m. First place went to Elizabeth Mickalonis, second to Oberlander Group, third to Anthony Huff, and the student award went to Ron Gibbons.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed in making the OUTPUT Graphics Regional a success: the designers, sponsors, judges, and all art enthusiasts who attended the event. We were thrilled to give designers a chance to exhibit and promote their work, and we hope that we will be able continue to so in the future.

The opening for the OUTPUT Graphics Regional and 35th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 14, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. It will be a raucous affair, complete with cake, t-shirts for sale, merriment, and of course, great design work.
