Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, Noon – 5 p.m.
1-2 Curatorial Assistant(s):
We are looking for someone who has a passion for contemporary art and/or community building, is comfortable adding and subtracting and is proficient with hand-tools. This candidate will work in conjunction with the Executive Director, artists, and the exhibition and program committee. This candidate should be available Friday, September 17 between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., November 2 - 5, December 21, January 4-7 between the hours of Noon - 5 p.m. and evenings for the receptions from 6 - 8 p.m. on October 1, November 5, December 3 and January 7. Additional hours will be scheduled in agreement with the Executive Director. Candidate must be well organized, dependable, self-motivated and efficient. 1 - 2 times a month, a Saturday shift is required, Noon - 5 p.m. Intern must keep a working journal and be responsible for tracking ones hours. Approximately 60 - 120 hours per semester.
1-2 Marketing Assistant(s):
We are looking for someone who is html proficient and is familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Imovie, Facebook and Twitter. The marketing candidate must have strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Photography skills are desired. Candidate must be well organized, dependable, self-motivated and efficient. 5-10 hours week for for twenty weeks. 1 - 2 times a month, a Saturday shift is required, Noon - 5 p.m. Additional hours will be scheduled in agreement with the Executive Director. Intern must keep a working journal and be responsible for tracking ones hours. Approximately 60 - 120 hours per semester.
1-2 Development Assistant(s):
We are looking for someone who is interested in fundraising and event planning. Candidate should be well organized, have a strong attention for detail, and have analytical ability. Must have proficiency with MC Office. Familiarity with FileMaker Pro a plus. Must be dependable, self motivated and efficient. 1 - 2 times a month, a Saturday shift is required, Noon - 5 p.m. Must be available as much as possible between November 8 - November 20. Additional hours will be scheduled in agreement with the Executive Director. Candidate must be dependable, self-motivated and efficient. Intern must keep a work journal and be responsible for tracking ones hours. Approximately 60 - 120 hours per semester.
1 Accounting Position:
We are looking for a candidate who is trustworthy and is familiar with bookkeeping. Candidate must be well organized, efficient, and have an attention for detail. Familiarity with accounting terminology, working with budgets, non-profit management, and Quickbooks is a plus.
Approximately 20 hours per sememster.
