6th Annual Members Show

Albany Center Gallery will be hosting its 6th Annual Members Show and your membership entitles you to submit one ready to hang artwork. The staff and Board of Director's really hope you will be able to participate this year.

The juror of awards will be Tim Kane, the lead art critic for the TImes Union. Kane's reviews have been published in Art News and Sculpture Magazine among others. Kane is pursuing an advanced degree in History and Curatorial Studies. He will select Best in Show and three juror selections.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would bring your favorite dish or favorite bottle of wine to the opening since the reception is traditionally a potluck. Here are some other details:

• The 6th Annual Members Show will be held November 30, 2010 through December 23, 2010.
• The Opening Reception will be held on Friday, December 3 between 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (There will be a brief Awards Ceremony at 7:30 p.m.).
• Please fill out the attached form and return it along with your artwork by November 23 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Please know the gallery will be unable to mail artwork back to you, so please pick up your work on Tuesday on January 4 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please call the office to make alternate arrangements if this time does not work with your schedule.
• Please note, the gallery will be closed December 24 through 31.
• Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, Noon – 5 p.m.
• Volunteers and gallery monitors are welcomed!
